Yesterday I had a client who hasn’t been able to get her hair cut or styled in over a year. After freshening up her ends we added some long layers to help add movement for more functional styling.
We set aside time to go over how to achieve these curls with minimal product used, and a step by step of using the curling iron in a way beneficial to her.
I’m thankful to have the ability to educate my clients and help them leave the salon feeling better than when they came in.🤍🤍

Around the beginning of May, .atlux brought her talents to us at LUX! 🙌🏽

Mya has made her home here in Texas after making the big move from her hometown in Wisconsin. She has a huge love for music, her boyfriend & her fur babies that keep her company when she’s not at LUX 😊 ❣️

She came to us from a blowdry bar & is now assisting the amazing .
We are so excited to be apart of her growth in this industry 🫶🏻🫶🏻

This color was completed by adding few hilights in the front hairline helping to merge the new growth with the existing grown out hilights. Then, doing a root smudge, gloss, and a cut with long layers, intentional weight removal where needed, & lots of shaping around the face.
