Did you know Texas has some of the hardest water in the nation? It’s true! And all of those heavy metals and minerals are literally attracted to your hair-Fun Fact, like everything, our hair has its own electrical charger which is the opposite of what’s in our water so, like magnets, they attract. This can cause build up, brittleness, dull looking hair, color fading and breakage.

While I always recommend a high quality shower head filter to help remove as much as we can from the water before it even touches your hair(my favorite is by BONUS:they’re a local DFW Company), I still think it’s a good idea to use professional clarifying shampoo. With the warmer weather I can feel everyone coming out of their hibernation and when people come out-they wanna come out feeling fresh! This is time for big chops, new styles and fresh feeling hair.

If you’ve ever looked at my booking site and wondered why I have so few color appointment options it’s because I want everything for my clients to be SIMPLE. I do not expect you to know technical terms or what would be involved to achieve the look you want from what you’ve got.

So I have FOUR options I’ll quickly breakdown

Color Retouch-For guests who have already colored their hair and are looking to touch up what has grow out. Typically for grey coverage clients-this appointment does not include highlighting of any kind.

Mini Custom Color-One color all over OR Face-Framing highlights and two highlights along the part to blend-Great for blondes or dimensional color in between larger sessions

Partial Custom Color-This could be for many different clients including but limited to traditional highlighting, dimensional color, lived-in color and can include grey coverage as well. This is typically after someone’s initial Full Custom Color appointment to maintain their look.

Full Custom Color-This is just like the partial but for longer services. Typically this would be someone’s first or initial appointment OR if you’re wanting to change your whole look OR for highlighted clients who are needing to highlight in the back part of the head.
This could also be applicable for someone with A LOT of hair, vivid clients, or color corrections.

We did it. We made it to 2024. I personally, am completely exhausted after the holiday season. Running around getting everything done, doing all the parties and all the socializing is so much for me (as much as I enjoy it). Which is why I try to prioritize time for me in January.

January is a time to slow down, take it easy, relax and treat yourself to some self-care. January is also the time when we get into true winter. Instead of waiting for your hair to get destroyed by the cold, dry weather-catch it before it happens.

This is for low-maintenance hair color-what does low maintenance mean? Most of my low maintenance color clients come to the salon 2-4 times a year(4 being my clients who really love investing in their hair). Want to try it on but not commit to ever coloring your hair again? We can do that too!

This service is 30% off the normal service cost. Discounts range from $70-$100 off! That’s quite a deal! Haircuts are not included but can be added at the bundle price (traditional straight haircut & style is normally $95 but can be added to a color service for just $55, curly haircuts normally $120 can be added for $75)!
