A big thank you goes out to the Chicken Salad Chicks of Tarrant County. They recently stopped by the food bank with a surprise of gratitude, as they presented us with a donation that allows us to provide 15,000 meals for hungry kids this summer.

This summer, all Texas kids can access no cost, healthy meals through the Summer Meal Program!

The Texas Department of Agriculture is working with community partners to provide nutritious meals in your community for Texas kids 18 and younger.

Some schools participating as meal sites may close when summer school ends. You can visit SummerFood.org or text FOOD or COMIDA to 304-304 to find other meal sites near you.
