Cindy will be out of the country backpacking from Switzerland to France from July 16 thru July 28. The office staff will be in the office during normal office hours. Dr. Alcuri will be providing coverage during that tiime.

I thank each of you for entrusting your child's healthcare needs with me. I find it a privilege to come to work and care for them! Recently, there have been decisions made by the staff that affected the quality of care I take pride in giving. I work constantly to maintain this practice that has been a lifelong dream of mine. After a recent staff meeting addressing a multitude of concerns affecting the quality of care, their was a revolt, and within seconds of one another, all texted resignations. I am working to find new staff. I may have to reschedule appointments until I can bring new staff on. Please be patient with me as I work to build a new team!

The office will be closed January 30 thru February 3 for the moving of the office. Phones will stil be answered during normal offfice hours. Dr. Alcuri will be providing coverage next week.

Many of you may have heard, the office will be moving February 1. A couple of months ago, I received a letter from the Woodsboro Medical Center that after 5 years, they would not renew my lease because FPCA wanted my office space. I have been working overtime trying to find new space. I wanted to stay in northern Frederick County and thought I would move to Walkersville, but unfortunately, the landlord of that space was not very cooperative and that was no longer a reality! I asked for extra time at our current space but that was not granted! So, after many sleepless nights and lots of hours spent working furiously after hours, I have had to land in Frederick. We are relocating to 172 Thomas Johnson Drive, Suite 200, Frederick, MD 21702. Hopefully, many stressful and sleepless nights will come to an end, and everyone will know, we will continue to provide the care we love to provide in a new space!
