It’s with so much gratitude, love, a mixture of emotion+energy that I share with you all that the Summer of 2024 will be my final season in Virginia.

Although I am SO excited for whatever is to come next, it is the closing of a HUGE chapter and along with that naturally comes grief. This decision was not something that came to me lightly…it brings a lot of sadness, a lot of excitement and a lot of unknown, yet creates so much room for new potential.

I was 18 years old when I made the Rappahannock River one of my homes and all of this seemed like such an unreachable dream. I turn 28 this summer and I’m here to share that any dream…at any age..no matter how unreachable it may feel, is possible.

This paddle community has always been a peaceful constant throughout many changes and smaller chapters in my life. I grew up with you all and you showed me what I was capable of. I can only hope that I have returned the favor and created a sanctuary for many of you as well, an inviting place to explore everything you’re capable of. It’s been an honor to witness and be witnessed.

So many life changes good and bad…marriages+divorces, births+deaths, career changes+new homes etc etc etc.
Thank you, for inviting me into your lives.

Fredericksburg has provided me with so much and will forever be a huge part of my story. It’s all so incredible!

As for Summer 2024, I feel so full of love moving into it. I have so much to share+give to FXBG and know that it will be our best and strongest season yet (other than COVID 😜) And so I have to lean into that feeling. We will play all Summer and we will continue to explore and go on many adventures together throughout the years to come.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Fredericksburg. For always being my #1 fan+supporter. The boards and I will see you so very soon. ❤️

The trust that goes into these weekends.

The trust that our guests have, for us to provide an experience. The trust, put in me to curate a group that meshes well together.

The trust the 3 of us hosts have in each other, allowing for a smooth ex*****on of all things. The trust we ALL (guests+hosts) put into each other to create and hold a safe space.

The trust... You have to. Trust or you’ll miss out in life. Trust that things will work out, that you’ll be ok, that there are good people out there.

So much trust is required in order to hold these group gatherings in one house.

Thank you all for trusting in me… Thank you for trusting in the space… and most of all thank you for trusting yourself.

That’s what makes this so special. Something beautiful is only possible, when there’s t r u s t. Stay tuned for our next trip, even though I think all beds are spoken for. 🫣😜

This community is building on a whole new level, I’m excited to keep building it with you all.
