🌟 Julianne McCarty was named Cline Elementary's new principal for the 2024-2025 school year! 🍎 With a Bachelor's from Texas State University and a Master's from Lamar University, Julianne brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role. 🎓 Her journey in education dates back to 2003, with roles ranging from teacher to Assistant Principal over the past five years.

But it's not just her professional expertise that sets her apart – Julianne is a proud parent within our Friendswood ISD community. 🏫 With her daughter Claire at Friendswood High School and her son Luke at Cline Elementary, Julianne understands both the educational landscape and our community's needs. 🌳 We're excited for her leadership at Cline Elementary!

ATTENTION Parents,
Tomorrow, Tues., April 30th, we will have STAAR testing on campus for grades 3rd-5th. This means the campus will be closed.
A closed campus means NO visitors and NO deliveries. We will not accept deliveries of any kind, and we cannot check out any students in 3rd-5th before 12:30pm.
NO LUNCH deliveries
NO BIRTHDAY deliveries
NO last minute morning deliveries of water, books, etc. that may be needed for the test. We will have items here for students that need them.
3rd-5th grade students cannot be checked out before 12:30pm. After 12:30 they cannot be checked out if they are still taking the test. We cannot check a student out before 12:30 unless their entire class has completed the test. We cannot interrupt a class that is testing to pull a student out. A student cannot stop their test to leave campus once they have started.
These are policies that we must adhere to, per state testing procedures.

Our STEAM day committee and volunteers knocked it out of the park.

The surprise patrol from the Friendswood ISD Education Foundation stopped by Cline this morning and awarded our teachers a total of $73,939.00 worth of grants. We are so grateful for our community who continue to amaze us in their support of education and allowing teachers to dream big.

Happy Volunteer Week to all of our OUTSTANDING volunteers here at Cline! From the Dandy Dads opening doors, party volunteers throwing stellar celebrations, the choir & robotics volunteers giving us extra hands, eyes, and expertise, the fantastic and supportive PTO helping make Cline the best it can be for the kids, and EVERYONE in between!
We couldn't do all this without you! THANK YOU!

The beautiful voices of the Cline choir filled the air this evening. Everyone sounded so great. Thanks parent helpers and Mrs. Pike for a great evening of music.

Yesterday, our students and staff here at Cline took in the awe and wonder of the solar eclipse around school! Luckily the clouds broke at the PERFECT TIME for us to catch sight of such an amazing event!
