Friendswood High School Athletics

Last week, at our final FMBC meeting of the 2023-24 SY, we celebrated our collective successes by presenting a check in the amount of $345,016.86 to Athletic Director Jordan Johnson.

While FMBC managed ~$920,871.33 during SY 23-24 for over 18 sports teams, representing over 900 Mustang Athletes, this check represented the total dollars raised through sponsorships and donations by our booster volunteers to support our Mustang Athletes and Coaches. These monies help offset dues required from each player’s family, and go a very long way to ensure our sports teams have what they need to be successful.

This work could not have been done without the tremendous work of our booster volunteers, and of course, our community donors and sponsors.

We thank you all for your continued support of FMBC as we continue our mission to support Mustang Athletes!

Congrats to Grayson Bratton on winning a $750 Booster Scholarship! Grayson was a 4-year member of the Boys Lacrosse team. He will be attending Blinn/A&M looking to major in Construction and Business. Congrats Grayson, and best wishes!!!

Big congrats to Thomas Sinclair for receiving a $750 scholarship from Mustang Booster!! Thomas was a 4-year lacrosse player and first year water polo player. He will attend the US Air Force Academy next year. Congrats, Thomas!

Huge congrats goes out to Angel Wright (wrestling and athletic trainer), Avery Beckman (wrestling), and Marc Garza (wrestling) on winning senior scholarships from Mustang Booster!! We can’t wait to see you thrive in your next adventure!!

Charley is heading to Texas Tech with dreams of becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy to help athletes recover from injury and get back to the sport they love.

Senior softball player, Baileigh Burtis, wins a $750 Scholarship from Mustang Booster Club! Bailey plans to attend Rutgers to continue her academic and athletic career, before heading off to pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer. Congrats, Bailey! We are so proud of you!
