Community Ed is done for the summer and these guys had so much fun they decided to create their own!!

“Instead of Community Ed this week, we did “Vascik Ed.” ❤️ We’re paying the kids to create their own classes and teach each other. 🙂 They gave me lesson plans, gathered supplies, and included a themed snack. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Dani did “Drawing Basics” from 9:30-11:30 🖍️ and Josh did “Awesome Animals” from 1:30-3:30. 🐬 The kids had a blast and I got in some focused work time. Best money we ever spent. 💰 (And I even asked them to do evaluation forms on each other.)”

The front entrance to the Jr high off of 528 will be closed by the city starting Monday to prep for July 4th festivities. Please use the entrance off of Falcon Ridge Blvd by the auditorium.

Leather making is impressive!!! I’m so impressed with these students and how hard they are working and learning a new skill this summer. Thank you Mr Boyer for bringing such a cool trade to our summer program.
