Renegades Soccer Club - Luna

🏆 The Renegades 13B Pre ECNL RL NTX - North kicked off the new season at the U90C Summer Splash tournament this past weekend! With new players and a new goalie, it was like building a brand new team. Despite the changes, the boys went undefeated in group play, they won their semifinal, and made it to the championship game. While they didn’t secure the win, I was incredibly proud of the team’s performance, am looking forward to the rest of the season, and I know they were excited to walk away with some hardware!💪⚽️

I had the pleasure of spending time with two of our fiercest competitors at Renegades Soccer Club. Rori, the only girl on my 2014 Pre-ECNL team, shows unmatched determination and skill every time she steps onto the field. Bryleigh, a standout 2017 player, was invited to stay after practice last week to watch Rori train with the boys. I wanted her to see firsthand that being a strong, fearless competitor knows no gender. Bryleigh was able to see a player who is already showing she has what it takes to be a player who commands respect and strikes fear when the ball is at her feet. I’m confident that Bryleigh will be following soon. 💪⚽️

Gabo has been a remarkable player to coach over the past three years. Starting as a 2015 player sitting on the sidelines watching me coach his big brother, he surprised everyone when he joined my 2013 boys practice. His journey saw him become a player on my 2013 Pre-ECNL team and captain for both the 2014 and 2015 Pre-ECNL teams. Henry, a driven 2017 player, reminded me of Gabo. After his own practice, I invited him to stay and join in on the 2015 practice and demonstrated his ability to keep up with the older boys. Both of these young athletes embody the spirit of hard work and resilience. 🌟⚽️

in sports is crucial, but peer mentorship is even more impactful. I believe in providing players who show that extra bit of desire and passion the opportunity to shine. When they have peers to look up to, their growth is unstoppable. 🙌

Our team had the incredible opportunity to watch the and hear from Stanford NCAA Crew Champion and Olympic hopeful, Katelin Gildersleeve! 🏆🚣‍♀️

Our players learned about Crew, often dubbed the most challenging team sport, and how to apply those insights to the pitch and their own teams. ⚽

The players asked amazing questions about various aspects of mental and physical preparation as well as the importance of the team. Our biggest takeaway? Working in sync with your team will always outperform individual talent out of sync.

🌟🏆 Albion Memorial Day Cup Recap - Las Vegas! 🏆🌟

Renegades SC Luna took two teams to compete in the Albion Memorial Day Cup in Las Vegas, and what a weekend it was!

Renegades SC Luna 14B Pre ECNL-RL NTX Team
This was their first out-of-state tournament, and while the results weren’t what we hoped for, the experience was invaluable. Competing against talented teams from outside our state was a great learning opportunity. More importantly, it was a fantastic chance for our kiddos and their families to bond!

Renegades SC Luna 13B Team
Our more experienced 13B team went undefeated the entire weekend and walked away with some well-deserved hardware! Congratulations to all the boys for their hard work and dedication!

It was a great weekend in Las Vegas, but now it’s time to get back home, hit the pitch, and get back to work! 💪⚽️

The boys will be heading to Arizona at the end of the month for the Capelli Cup. We'll be taking on great teams from Mizzou, Arizona and California to start off the tournament. Let's go!!!

A week late in posting this, but our first 2024 seasons wrapped up in a great way for our Pre-ECNL 14s & 15s. Both teams went in their PIT Frisco Winter II season!!

Our Renegades 13G North Luna girls lead the way in their bracket in the PPIL Placement Tournament this weekend. 3 wins, 1 shut out, and plenty of goals scored from Mabry, Finnley, Sean, Emrie, Annette, and Alice. Congratulations on classifying for PPIL D1! Way to go, girls!!!

2 of our 2013B teams will be in action in the 11U Classic League qualifying tournament. Our 2013B Pre ECNL team will be in Group G and our 2013B North team will be in Group L. Come on out and cheer them on!

Our boys finished the NextGen Cup tournament with 2 shutout wins (1-0, 5-0) and a close 1-2 loss against the eventual champions. Just missed out on making the playoffs, but the boys had the lowest goals against in the 12 team division.

The 2013Gs had a blast at the Oklahoma Mother’s Day Classic tourney! We won one, lost two, and got to spend great quality time with our teammates and moms to celebrate Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day to all the soccer moms out there!

Congrats to our 2010B ECNL RL NTX - North for winning the championship in the Oklahoma Mother’s Day Classic. Way to go boys!

Congrats to our 2013B North boys who were finalists in the Carey Invitational Tournament, losing to the Solar Tremblay PRE-ECNL team in the finals. Congrats to the Solar boys for a well-earned win as well.

Coach Luna will especially be looking for 2010s and 2013s, so please sign up and come on out!
