Are you ready? Let's do this!
Have you ever been around someone who makes you doubt your path and your plan? I have too.
That’s why in order to keep a positive mindset, I have had to learn to guard my mind by surrounding myself with the right people.
It’s easy to get around the wrong voices and start questioning everything you were just completely sold on!
This is your reminder to guard your heart, guard your mind, your plans, your goals and your dreams. The future depends on it!
Before diving head first into real estate, I started off in sales and sales management.
I’ve always been passionate about helping others grow and challenging them to reach their goals.
It’s pretty cool how life somehow seems to make it all make sense. People go to college and dread the fact that they spent so much time and money to end up not working in their career field but what I have learned is that our life experiences and lessons all come together and we can use everything we know for the task at hand.
I am now using all of my sales and leadership skills to invest in properties as well as help others do the same.
Nothing has been more fulfilling than that!
So you know by now that investing is kinda my thing...but I don’t just invest in real estate and business ideas. I invest in self betterment as well.
When I look good, I feel good. When my confidence is intact, I am able to show up for others and operate my at my very best.
I don't know about you but I want to live a long healthy life so I can enjoy all the investments I am working towards and around all the people I love!
Comment one thing you do on the daily to invest in yourself.
One of my biggest accomplishments was purchasing my second home as a wife and third property as an adult.
My husband and I have turned our first home into a rental property in order to turn it into a cash flow asset.
We are currently in search of our first multi-family property minimum 100+ doors, reading financials, walking properties, researching locations.
I’m not telling you this to brag but to encourage you to get into this lucrative business. The possibilities are endless.
My goal is to continue to grow our assets under management as more doors equals more cash flow. If you are looking for financial freedom, the ability to travel when and how you want and operate on your own time...then you should seriously consider investment real estate.
Got a question? Drop it in the comments, I'm here to help!
I can still remember how I felt when I moved into my first home.
I remember getting all settled in and looking around thinking, ”Wow I have my own place that I bought all on my own”. This was a complete sense of accomplishment.
To all my ladies out there wanting to buy themselves a home, I say GO FOR IT! You wont regret it.
Would you ever buy yourself a house? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
Contracts are written agreements, concerning employment, sales, or tenancy, that are intended to be enforceable by law….aka some pretty serious stuff.
Here are a few things to help you through signing your next contract:
*Take your time! No need to rush. Be sure to read through everything and ask a legal professional for help if there are things you don’t understand.
*You are the only one who has to pay the mortgage every month. It’s your house, so it’s your choice. Don’t make your decisions based on anyone else’s happiness. This is about you!
*Don’t feel like you are supposed to know all the answers. That’s what I am here for. Never hesitate to speak up and ask questions. If you aren’t in this business and have never purchased a home, how are you supposed to know?
Was this helpful? If so, share it with a friend!
One thing I absolutely love about what I do is helping people through one of the biggest purchases they will make in their lives. I am a homeowner myself and I GET IT. This is BIG.
One of the best things you can do as you embark on your home buying journey is connect with a trustworthy realtor who gets it. Someone who actually owns a home and has been through the process first hand. Someone who knows how to negotiate, knows when to push, pull and step back.
I’m here to make that process as enjoyable as possible!
Click the link in my bio and let’s start the process together. I promise it’s not as scary as it seems!
Some may argue that renting a home is best but I firmly believe in owning a home. I love the freedom, security and stability I now have being a homeowner.
When owning a home, you have the ability to make home improvements which increase value that you can later profit from when you want to sell.
There are also tax advantages like the ability to deduct all or most interest payments. Owning your home increases net worth by home equity and not to mention it’s much cheaper than renting overtime.
Now tell me, would you rather rent or buy?
People think buying your first home is difficult or even impossible. The truth is, it’s not impossible and it doesn't have to be hard.
There are obviously a few things you will need but buying a home is very attainable!
Here are a few things you can be doing to prepare yourself for the homebuying process:
-Work on your credit score
-Keep a good credit history
-Maintain a reliable source of income
-Keep your debt to income ratio at a minimum
SN: People can have little to no money to put down to buy their first home so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!

Now is a great time to start investing in real estate.
When you think about investing in something, ask yourself, “can this thing/idea be replaced by technology?”. If the answer is no, then chances are, it’s a great investment.
People will always need a roof over their head so homes are always going to be needed.
Want start investing?
Here are 3 things you can do to start investing in real estate:
1. Research and learn investing in real estate and decide what type of real estate you want to be an investor in.
2. Leverage other people’s money (OPM). You may not have the cash or credit to finance your property investments, and that’s ok.
If you are capable of finding profitable real estate deals, you can get people to fund your real estate projects and agree on how to share profits. This is a win for both parties.
3. Invest in income/cash flow producing properties. Just think for a second about how many thousands of dollars you have spent on rent in your lifetime, think about the thousands your friends and family have spent...now that's a lot of cash flow.
Start thinking of ways to collect a check and keep it coming each month for years to come.
I see some new faces here so let me give you a brief rundown of who I am and what I do...
I'm Macy, your real estate agent friend who is now an investor, sales development manager for a financial company, owner and supporter of a vegan hair care line (*flips healthy hair).
Balancing it all can get tricky at times but I stay focused on my goals and sharing the knowledge with other women so they too can create their own path to financial freedom. That is what truly keeps me going.
Want to know more? Shoot me a DM, I’d love to hear from you because we've got to stay focused and reach these financial goals!
Comment one stream of income you're into, let's spread the knowledge and spread the wealth!
CREATE THE HOME OFFICE OF YOUR DREAMS
Whether you work full-time at home or occasionally need to conduct business in the evenings or on the weekends, a home office a great way to utilize an extra room. A dedicated workspace in your home can be designed to increase productivity and comfort. Here are 5 ideas to get you started.
Invest in a good office chair. Investing in an ergonomic office chair is essential. You may be spending anywhere from 30 to 50 hours a week sitting in it, so your back will thank you. Purchasing one with multiple adjustments is ideal so it fits you just right.
Switch up your lighting. Fluorescent lighting has been proven to be hard on the eyes. Make the switch to LED or halogen light bulbs in your home office and try to let in as much natural light as possible. Also, consider finding a desk lamp to reduce headaches and eye strain.
Keep essentials in reach and organized. Nothing says productivity like a clean, neat workspace. Select a desk with a lot of storage or install creative shelving to keep items like pens, pencils, extra batteries, calculators, notepads, and more stored within arm’s reach.
Decorate bright. Pick a color you love and use it to spice up the room. Use cheery yellow or red or relaxing tones like green and blue, instead of beiges and browns.
Aim for the view. If possible, place your desk so you are facing a window instead of a blank wall. Natural light can do wonders for staying alert and you can give yourself a short mental break when necessary by looking to the outdoors.
