If you're struggling with a LOW S3X DRIVE, this is for you (make sure to save this!)

If you're feeling like your mojo's gone MIA, I totally get it. It can be a real downer, leaving you feeling frustrated and out of sorts. But don't worry- there are things you can do to give your s3x drive a much-needed boost 👇🏻

First things first, let's address the root causes:

➡️ Gut Health: Believe it or not, low libido can often be linked to gut issues. A healthy gut is essential for hormone regulation, and imbalances can impact your s3x drive.

➡️ Serotonin Levels: Low levels of serotonin, often referred to as the "feel-good" hormone, can also contribute to a decreased libido. Stress, anxiety, and poor diet can all affect serotonin production.

Now, here are three tips to help you increase your libido:

📌 Eat a Mineral-Rich Diet: Certain minerals like zinc, magnesium, and selenium are crucial for hormone production and libido. Include foods like oysters, pumpkin seeds, dark chocolate, and spinach in your diet to boost these essential nutrients.

📌 Incorporate Good Quality Probiotics: A healthy gut is key to overall well-being, including s3xual health. Look for probiotic-rich foods like yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, and kimchi to support gut health and potentially enhance libido.

Let's talk about it 🕵️‍♀️ If you're body is holding onto weight, I promise it's not doing it just to make you mad. It's also not doing it just because you need to "eAt LeSs AnD wOrK oUt MoRe" like some health (un)professionals like to repeat.

Weight retention is often a SYMPTOM of a deeper root issue. It is a sign of stress in another area of the body such as thyroid, trace minerals, insulin resistance, gut problems, etc. That's why I take a functional approach with weight loss patients-- looking at the whole body to solve the problem rather than just looking at the number on the scale 🔎

Trace mineral testing is the key to seeing what minerals your body is lacking🤓 Trace minerals play an essential role in your hormonal harmony, meaning if you feel like your hormones are off it likely means your mineral levels are off. You see it in these symptoms. Listen to your instinct, if something feels off let's get you tested. Hi new faces! It's been a minute, so let me introduce myself! I'm Katherine 👋🏼 I'm a native Texan (yee haw 🤠) I have a degree in nutritional science and dietetics and masters in nursing. I had a brief, but incredibly meaningful, stint in oncology. I am a Nurse Practitioner (not a doc 👩‍⚕️) I am extremely passionate about women's health and women being heard in the medical field. I own my own medical and functional practice.

I'm confident in what I do because I was first a patient myself-- struggling to lose baby weight, severely adrenal depleted, and now walking through healing from an autoimmune disease. Insulin Resistance is becoming the iphone of the 2020's-- everyone has it, and if you don't have it you're in the minority🤯 But here's the truth: you can treat these symptoms and still be insulin resistant, or you can treat the ACTUAL PROBLEM and these symptoms will resolve. We have no idea what affects long-term insulin resistance will do to our health, genetics, and quality of life.

But it is actually reversible. I see it happen every week with dozens of patients in my health coaching program. your body may be running out of gas and begging for a break if you're seeing these symptoms over and over. Let's chat!🤓🤍
