Sometime we just have to work with our environment. We wont always be able to get the ideal training session in. The important part is that we still show up and stay consistent. We also get to include our littles every once in a while. 😁🧘‍♀️

Relaxed COVID-19 safety measures means we will likely see an increase in flu activity in the coming months. It takes your body around 2 weeks to develop the antibodies that protect against the flu after vaccination. Thus, you should make sure to get your flu vaccine by the end of October. The flu and COVID vaccines can be administered at the same time.

New business cards are in with the official address of my clinic. It was a fight to get this space but I am so happy that I did not give up. It really is perfect and I can't wait to share it will all my patients. Come stop by, enjoy a free coffee, pick up a card, and help me spread the word!

In a recent study, having one person immunized in a two person family, reduced the rate of infection in the other by 45%. The results were even more dramatic in larger families. If 4 out of 5 family members were immunized, the rate of infection in the fifth member was 97% lower than in families of the same size with no immunized members.

The take away... we can protect our non-immunized family members by protecting ourselves.

This was one of my main motivators for getting vaccinated. As a mother, I want to do everything I can to protect my children. Getting vaccinated gave me the ability to not only protect myself but to protect my young children who are too young to be vaccinated themselves. And at 2 and 5, they are terrible at wearing masks. I knew that getting the vaccine was the best thing I could do for them and my entire family.
