Viking Families: A few quick to do's to prepare for the 2024-2025 School Year at Vandeventer Middle School:

- Order School Supplies School Code: VMS001 (Deadline June 18, 2024)

- Order PE Uniforms from Frisco Sports Center - Students in PE class must wear black shorts and plain grey t-shirt. (Deadline July 7, 2024)

- Order Spirit Wear

- Mark your calendar for Viking Camp - August 5th @ 9:30am

We wanted to let you know to save the date - Redhawk Softball is hosting an Elementary/Middle School night on Saturday, March 23rd. We would love to have your students come support our Redhawks. Of course they will have a concession stand plus there will be some games and prizes for the students!

1. In lieu of teacher gifts, parents and students are encouraged to donate gift cards in denominations of $5 to $20 that will be distributed to the entire staff on Thursday, December 21st. Donations may be dropped off at the front office between now and Wednesday, December 20th. Please write the dollar amount and the name of the family who donated in a permanent marker on each gift card/sleeve so that we may extend our appreciation and gratitude. ❤️

2. As an additional resource, please find teacher/staff favorite lists below. You can use this as needed this holiday season or save for later! ✍️

We will be hosting a Sweet Treat Bar for our beloved VMS staff on December 13th and we would love for you to share your favorite homemade or store-bought sweet treats!

Walk to School Day on October 4th was a great success!

Huge thank you to all who donated! We were able to stock the lounge today...and because we had so many donations, we'll be stocking the lounge AGAIN NEXT WEEK!!! Thank you again for your generous donations!! We couldn't have done this without all of you🫶
