With the regular season over and playoffs starting TODAY, there no better way to get the party started than recognize TWBL’s brightest stars in 2024! 🏆

It took Who’s Your Daddy and 9 weeks but they finally got a win off the back of Raglin’s 1-hit, 9-strikeout shutout! A win of this magnitude if more than deserving of our final of the 2024 season!

Trysten Meadors was instrumental in leading the Cosby Show to their first weekly tournament win of the season! With 3 homers, 6 RBIs, and 2 wins on the mound, Meadors takes home honors for Week 8!

Oh, what a night! A big thanks to for making this event possible! Gorgeous weather, a great group of guys, and an amazing community made the 2nd annual TWBL All-Star Game a smash hit!

Better late than never! Cooper Ruckel takes home honors for Week 4 with an all-around night: 7 RBIs and 4 Big Flies at the dish to go with a 2-1 record and 19 Ks from the bump!

Oh, what a return! 🎉 Henry Marshall makes up for lost time in Week 2 leading the Flying Turtles to a 1st-place finish over the Cosby Show! Marshall drove in 6 RBIs and smacked 3 homers for the Flying Turtles this week. His moment being his clutch 2-run homer to send the Cosby Show packing and the Turtles to a 5-1 record on the season!

TWBL is headed back to Home Run Ranch on July 5th for the 12th annual All Star Game and Home Run Derby!

It feels appropriate to have the on this week for his first (and hopefully not last) appearance! We’ll sit down with with Will tonight for this week’s episode of Twibble Talk!

Will Raines takes home Player of the Night honors for his 8 RBI performance at the plate! His walk off single sent the Blue Ballers into the final round where he’d continued his clutch hitting ! In a 1-0 victory, Raines drove in the only run that ended up being the difference and the reason why the Blue Ballers start the season 3-0!

Texas Wiffle Ball League

Opening day part 1 was a success!

The Flying Turtles showed out yesterday, being the the only team to go 2-0 and doing so in dominant fashion. Their pitching staff didn’t allow a single run and their potent offense carried over from last year, giving them a +24 run differential through the first week of games.

We’re in store for another great night of action tonight! Hope to see you at the fields.

1 more sleep until TWBL Opening Day! In just under 24 hours, the long awaited first pitch of the 2023 season will be thrown.

Speaking of pitching, nobody has done more of that over the last few years than Degeneration-X’s superstar Jesse Palmore. Jesse paced the league in 2022 with 50 innings pitched (a mind-boggling 12.1 more innings than the next closest) in route to yet another Cy Young award. That’s impressive enough in it’s own right, but he was also outstanding in the batter’s box, smashing every pitch thrown his way to the tune of a .664/.692/1.345 slash line. Known as the player who inspired Shohei Ohtani, Palmore is the ultimate dual threat and won last season’s co-MVP.

While his mantle is already chock-full of regular season awards, what would mean the most to him and his DX squad is carrying their regular season success into the playoffs and bringing home another championship title. Will they be able to do it? We’ll soon find out.

We’re just 2 days away from TWBL Opening Day!

This week, we’ll see Jack Hoving toe the rubber against the Pork Pistols in game 1 of the Blue Ballers’ quest to repeat as champions. Coming off of a stellar 2022 season in which he won co-MVP and finished 2nd in Cy Young, Hoving has little to prove. But winning the MVP outright or finishing 1st in Cy Young voting would be a nice feather in the commissioner’s cap.

3 days until TWBL Opening Day!

If the Flying Turtles are going to win another championship this year, Gage West and Ian O’Hare are going to have to be big producers.

Both had fantastic offensive seasons in 2022 when they posted a 2.363 and 1.702 OPS, respectively, but what would help the Turtles’ title chances the most is if they can both step it up on the mound and become playoff-caliber arms. Relying on Connor Retterath to throw 21 playoff innings over 3 days isn’t sustainable, but if West and O’Hare can eat a few innings here and there, the championship puzzle becomes a lot clearer for the Flying Turtles.

4 days until TWBL Opening Day!

Long lauded for his ability to slug, it was Taylor Raglin’s pitching that made headlines in 2022. He’ll need to take yet another big step forward on the mound if Who’s Your Daddy is going to get to where they want to be this year. But if he can become that reliable big-game arm and return to 2021 form offensively, Taylor could be a sneaky MVP candidate.

5 days until TWBL Opening Day!

Championship hero Paul Marshall and the Blue Ballers are looking to become the first team to win back to back titles since 2016-2017. It will be a tall task, but oddsmakers again have the Marshall, Raines, and Hoving led group as a championship favorite. They’ll get their season started with an exciting week 1 that has them set to face both the Pork Pistols and DX.
