We hope you are doing well and eagerly waiting to hear from us.

First of all sorry for the delay in opening the registration for the 2022 - 2023 School Year and thank you for your patience and cooperation. As we said earlier we ran into unexpected technical difficulties that caused this delay. Finally, we resolved it and we are happy and excited to announce that we are opening registration for the academic Year 2022 - 2023. Please read this email and follow all instructions carefully before you register your kids. You can click on the link below to register your kids.

Important Note :



Our Avvai Tamil school starts on September 11th instead of August 21st due to this unexpected delay in registration. We will share our school calendar soon.



For Returning students:-



Legacy location kids - Please register in LH session 2 (1:00 PM to 3:00 PM)

Lighthouse location kids - Please register in LH session 3 (3:30 PM to 5:30 PM)



Warren & Custer location kids - Please register in the location that your kids attended last year.



New students:-



For New Students, Registration is allowed only from Mazhalai to Nilai 5 and can be registered only in LH session 1 (10 AM to 12 PM).

Siblings of returning students enrolling for Mazhalai can be registered in their sibling's location.



Please note that If you register your kids in the wrong location, then it will cause a delay in your kids' admission and we may not be able to guarantee your kids' admission in ATC. Please cooperate for a smooth registration and school start.

Avvai Tamil Center is now in the process of moving to in-person classes at all locations, after conducting the classes online due to the pandemic.

We are running into challenges due to the non-availability of our existing school locations. We are trying very hard to secure our existing locations and also looking into two new locations to meet the demand and growth of our School and to replace our existing but smaller ones.

We will open the registration for the academic year 2022 - 2023 as soon as we secure our school locations. We are trying very hard to confirm the location by next week and open the registration ASAP. We sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience and thank you all for your understanding and continued faith in ATC.

We are happy to announce Avvai Tamil Center's Annual signature Musical event -7th year "Avvai Tamil Isai Vizha" is back now for 2021 with new change as a National level Music competition.
This year highlights :National level virtual Music competition.Partnered with GTV and telecasting the kids videos in their channel in a selected Avvai time slot.

We encourage everyone to participate .Details are as follows:

1. This is a virtual music competition.
2. This competition is open to all kids ages 5 to 17 who are residing in the US only.
3. The registration fee is $5 per entry.
4. The entry can only be a solo performance.
5. The song selected for the performance has to be in Tamil. Songs not in Tamil will result in the entry being disqualified from the competition
6. There will be two categories (pannisai, makkalisai) for three age groups each as below:
Songs categories:
Pannisai – Traditional music composed by Tamil poets like Bharathiyar, Bharathidhasan or devotionals or classical or semi-classical film music
Makkalisai – various genres of folk songs (Pushpanvanam Kuppusamy), Essapppattu villupattu,oppaari, Thallattu, Tamil folk fusion etc.,
7. All registered participants should upload their music videos to the link that will be sent after your registration is confirmed.
8. The judge’s decision is final.

Video Requirements:
1. Video must be no longer than 3-5 mins in total length. Entries exceeding 5 mins in length will not be accepted.
2. Only landscape video will be accepted or the competition.
3. Video should be continuously recorded video and there should not be any cuts or editing to the video.
4. If there are any edits in the video then it will not qualify for the competition
5. Good quality audio and video might gain more points.
6. Videos with the backing track / prompting help will be disqualified, Shruthi box and metronome is allowed

b. மக்களிசைப்பாடல்கள்: நாட்டுப்புறப்பாடல்கள், இசைப்பாட்டு, வில்லுப்பாட்டு, ஒப்பாரி, தாலாட்டு, தமிழ் இணைவுப்பாடல்கள்
7. உங்களின் காணொளி தமிழ் G தொலைக்காட்சியில் அவ்வை மையத்திற்கான நேரத்தில் வாராவாரம் ஒளிபரப்பப்படும். பாடல்கள் எங்களை வந்தடைந்த வரிசைப்படி இவை ஒளிபரப்பப்படும்
8. பதிவுசெய்யப்பட்ட பங்கேற்பாளர்கள் அனைவரும் உங்கள் இசை வீடியோக்களை உங்களுடைய பதிவு உறுதிசெய்த பிறகு அனுப்பப்படும் மின்னஞ்சலில் உள்ள இணைப்பின் மூலம் பதிவேற்றம் செய்ய வேண்டும்.
9. நடுவர்களின் முடிவே இறுதியானது.
