PLOT SYNOPSIS
She Kills Monsters from Vietnamese American playwright and self-proclaimed geek, Qui Nguyen, is a journey into the world of fantasy role-playing games, relationships, and personal discovery. When Agnes finds her younger sister's Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she begins a quest of revelation and action-packed adventure.

This play focuses on family relationships, both biological as well as chosen, and the grieving process, but though a comical and action-oriented lens. It is a touchingly personal story in juxtaposition with the most epic journey imagined. The strong representation of individuals in the LGBTQIA2S+ community highlights moments of identity revelation and some of the complexities that accompany identity, presentation, and relationships in our heteronormative and patriarchal driven society.
