The GROWL will be after the McLaughlin Detachment meeting and a short Cake Cutting Ceremony in commemorating the Marine Corps Birthday.
Location will be in Southside at the American Legion post on Hwy 77.
All DOGS are invited to the Detachment meeting and cake cutting ceremony.

GROWL was held at Conley Detachment's building in Sheffield Alabama.
I had the honor of swearing in three Mongrels into the Degree of Pup in the Order.
Our Pack Dog Robber PDD Kevin Ellis sent a gift to our Pound Police Dog DD Richard Keeton and we were honored with a visit from DD Mark Kuehndorf from the River Region Poung of Montgomery.

Our Pound participated in the first annual Alabama Pack Gathering of the DOGS "Devil Dog Day " in honor of Past Pack Leader Jack Hopping.
Colonel John Schmidt along with 3 other lifelong friends of Jack's and his wif and daughter stopped in for the start of the event.
Col. Schmidt gave an awesome account of some of his experiences with Jack and so did the three other gentlemen.
Our Pound got 1st place in two events and Pound Keeper got 1st Runner up in the "Dog Show "
Along with the 125 Big Bones sent in by all 5 Pounds ($25 each),the FINES levied by our referees we raised $676. BIG BONES for the fund benefiting the Children's hospital at our Supreme GROWL.
We had a Woofing great time.
