Microchip education 😀

As some may know all animals adopted from HSPRAC receive a microchip, which is covered by the adoption fee! NOW when an animal is adopted they will receive a microchip AND a tag for their collar as an identifier that they are microchipped❤️ This is just one of the many reasons you should consider adopting a shelter pet!

DID YOU KNOW: Microchips do not use GPS technology and they are not tracking devices!
When an animal is found and taken to a shelter or veterinary clinic, one of the first things they do is scan the animal for a microchip. If they find a microchip, and if the microchip registry has accurate information, they can quickly find the animal's owner.

Unfortunately we are not able to do microchips on public animals at this time. You can contact your vet about having your animal microchipped.

Over the last couple of weeks we have had several rescue pulls…
Carol Huckaby was able to pull a mama dog and 9 puppies and 10 kittens!
Mailman's Mutts Inc pulled sweet honey girl!
We are so thankful for all of the help and support we receive from local rescues ❤️🐾

We had over 20 cats brought to us from one location! All of them are sweet and most of these are kittens! We are having a hard time getting cats adopted so we are in search of rescues that could pull once they come off of stray hold! We are so grateful Kylee was able to come get this baby on such short notice! Bunny comes off of stray hold today and is looking for her forever home!

This morning we got to take this sweet boy, Pot pie, to the airport for his freedom flight! He will be meeting his new owner in roughly 2 hours and he can’t wait! ❤️🐾

NEED ADOPTED OR RESCUED ASAP!
This is Jupiter. He was surrendered and then adopted but was not a good fit for the home. He has major anxiety and we have to get him out of the shelter asap! He’s around 4 yrs old, neutered, and vaccinated. He is good with calm cats and dogs BUT would need to be with someone 24/7. He has scratched up doors, escaped kennels, and would break out of a pop up so when we say with someone 24/7 we mean it! He also would need to be in a home with kids 12 and older.
He would make a great emotional support animal! He is very well trained!

We are so honored to have a local business that supports us so much!!! ❤️🐾
