Do you react or do you respond? When those unfortunate circumstances creep in, when something disastrous happens, and/or when that storm hits, do you REACT to the situation and lose your cool OR do you gather as much information as possible, collect yourself, and appropriately RESPOND? ⚡

We can be emotional characters in this game of life, so I hope that the next time something "bad" happens, you may recall this post and make the right choice!

As a leader, I believe it's essential to focus on your strengths and surround yourself with a team of individuals that enhance those strengths.

My biggest weakness is attention to detail. I am energetic and excitable, and it can be challenging to zero in on the more minor details of my BIG ideas. I hire and build a team around my weaknesses, so I can focus on my strengths and be who I am. ⚡

Be open to having challenging conversations. Here are some things we need to do... Come to the conversation looking to understand and not judge. You must also come to the conversation looking to learn from the other individual and understand that maybe your answer or your belief may not be the only one. Finally, find common ground. If we can find common ground, then we can come together to address the problem at hand.
