Great Mission Trip with Gators & Gamecocks as we are working this week prepping for VBS, working for Orphans, a Foodbank, a Gentleman with Cancer and a lady who is a major accident survivor with their house repairs and yard work!

It has again been a great joy and blessing to serve Gators for Christ and our UCCC youth ministry for the last 31 years! As youth minister, I got to serve over 70 middle & high school students from 1992-2000 baptizing over 40 of them. As our campus minister from 2000-2023, our family has got to serve 374 students who are now alumni (http://gatorsforchrist.org/AlumniInfo.html - some of those are combined on one line if they got married here while in school) and got to baptize 180 of those. We love so many of you, and will always point you toward God, His Spirit and the redemptive power of Christ Jesus! We look forward to visiting with extended family through the rest of summer and the new plans God has for our family, which will be revealed later this Fall.

This Wednesday June 21st at 6pm we have our monthly fellowship meal in the gym on the theme of “summer favorites.” At 7pm we are upstairs in room #212 with Donny, Chris & Alex finishing our series on the book of “Esther.” For those who would like to play, we will set up volleyball downstairs at 8:15pm. Happy birthday to Caitlyn Frizzell this week!

We are excited for our South Carolina Mission Trip This Friday June 23-June 28 with some of our summer students! We will be working alongside some of the summer students from Univ. of South Carolina and enjoy a great time of service work, fun & fellowship for the Palmetto Church of Christ into the community of Columbia, SC.

Thank you again to those who helped last week with VBS and St. Francis House! This Wednesday June 14th at 7pm we will have our “Esther” Bible class by Alex Lancaster in room #212-214.

Great time at Trish Zylinski's Lakehouse together yesterday after morning worship and thank you to all those helping with VBS this week! This Wednesday June 7th at 7pm there is a combined adult class in the auditorium (we will continue Esther on June 14th). Happy birthday to Allie Cockrell today and Abel Mak this weekend!

This Thursday June 8th at 6pm we will be serving dinner to homeless moms & children at St. Francis House (413 South Main Street). Afterwards at 7:30pm, as a special thank you for all of you who serve, you will get a free Regal movie ticket for a movie of your choice that night!

This Friday June 9th at 7pm and Saturday June 10th at 9:30am will be a Discipleship special worship with guest speaker Dan Winkler. On Sunday morning June 11th at 9:30am Dan will be doing a combined adult class in the auditorium, and our worship is at 10:30am at University City Church of Christ!

We are in the church gym this Wednesday April 5th at 7pm for a combined adult class special presentation from our Lads to Leaders children as they share with us. Thanks to some of our students who have been helping our kids in so many capacities for the L2L convention this weekend in Orlando. Our family looks forward to being there to support Mackenzie and all the kids participating. Happy birthday to Michael Hartman this week!

Hope you had a blessed Spring Break and thank you again to all those who helped make our Tampa Mission Trip successful in feeding and praying with the homeless in Clearwater, helping an elderly widow from the Bay Area church with all her Spring yard work, and serving displaced hurricane families at Metropolitan Ministries! We are back in action this Wednesday March 22nd at 7pm for a special one-time Spring college & post grad “Peak of the Week” worship & devotional by Dylan Lerner on UF’s campus in the Plaza of the Americas.
