Today, we celebrate and honor Juneteenth, a pivotal moment in American history. Also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, June 19th commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow dedicates its services to cultivating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. We encourage you to learn more about the significance of Juneteenth and explore the resources listed on the last slide.

This beautification project called “Alachua” was brought to the University of Florida in 1987. The now nicknamed “French Fries” have become a campus landmark and meeting spot for students!

Every Tuesday will be highlighting a tradition to complete. This week’s tradition is “Kiss The Bull 🐊 Gator”

The Bull Gator was placed in honor of the 2006 Football National Championship and the members of the Bull Gator Program. Kissing is not required, a pose or Gator Chomp with the statue will do!
