5 days ago we had our first annual Back 2 the Books Community Outreach and it was a success. A big thank you to all of our vendors, sponsors, donators, and wonderful volunteers that showed up and supported. With out you this wouldn’t have been possible. Our hope is that you partner with us either through fundraisers, volunteering, donations or bringing awareness to connect our communities with the resources that are available and unknown to them.
L.E.I. Community Outreach is a 501c3 non-profit organization and we are a community, that is helping to build a great community. Our mission is to guide you and your family to the right people and place that can assist you on your journey to a prosperous, healthy and fulfilling life.

Youth & Teens Support Group
Our Children’s Support Group is a safe place for children and teens to heal from the emotional and mental wounds that come from experiencing or witnessing domestic violence. We support these children and teens through accomplishing goals with group support, education and advocacy, and other activities.
Children and teens who experience emotional, physical, psychological, sexual, and verbal mistreatment are more likely to act out. Developing minds absorb social and environmental cues around them, leading children and teens to express emotions how they’ve perceived to be the normal way. We work with children and youth, teaching constructive and healthy ways to express thoughts and feelings. We help relieve the effects of trauma, strengthen the bonds with protective adults, and end the generational cycle of abuse.

This group is open to all women who have experienced physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. Topics discussed include safety planning, self-esteem, assertiveness, self-sufficiency, life without violence, and more.
