In Memoriam.
We remember Heidi Liebert Fine ’00, Biochemistry, who passed away in January from glioblastoma. Heidi was a bright light when she was here as a student and she had kept in touch over the years. Heidi was a teacher at Mercy High School where she was a first-rate professional, a dynamic and creative force, and an inspiration to a new generation of scientists. She sent students our way and we joined them as well as Heidi’s son and family in remembering her. We feel sadness at her passing, but gratitude for her time with us. If anyone would like to share memories of Heidi, please feel free to do so.
