My mini Janie went to vet what I thought was colic, but continues to have distress. She’s extremely anemic and the vet doesn’t think she’s going to make it. Does anyone have any ideas or knowledge about minis that we might be missing??

Beautiful Memorial Day in Geneseo!

We were honored to be at the VFW Ceremony for Memorial Day!

Horses have same needs and comforts as humans. Had to get Janie’s teeth filed. The tranquilizer made her very sleepy and Halo immediately comforted her and hung out waiting for her to wake up. Please help pay for Janie’s appointment by donating to SOS.

We are doing a demonstration in the Geneseo City Park immediately following the VFW Don Cherry Post’s Ceremony. Come see us among the thousand flags filling the park. Flags go up by 7am.

Smoke our therapy horse has worked with many active duty, reservists, veterans, and their dependents. Memorial Day is a difficult day for many vets that are remembering their brothers and sisters. We are looking forward to sharing our programs. Come see us!

Love small town living … visiting my Jr High Horse Loving PE Teacher in the nursing home with Halo makes her brighten up every time! If you’re from Geneseo you know … Mrs. Gernant 92yrs old! ‘Horses Helping Humans’ free public demo to be held at fairgrounds Non-profit Sundance for Our Soldiers is hosting a free public demonstration of equine-assisted psychotherapy and equine-assisted learning at Rock Island County Fairgrounds in East Moline on May 10 at 6 p.m.

I’ll be on Quad Cities Live today with the miniature horse Janie … watch us and give me feedback… promoting Public Demonstration at the Rock Island Co Fairgrounds this Friday 6pm.
