Yoga Tune Up – Friday, September 27th, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This class gives you 8 continuing education hours in which you will review anatomy and physiology including the musculoskeletal, nervous, and digestive systems. You will learn self-care and relaxation techniques to enhance your skeletal muscle mobility as well as fascial pliability through exploring exercise techniques using various modalities including balls and stretch straps. You will also learn how to best serve your clients by gaining a better understanding of viscera including how the diaphragm and pelvic floor are connected and how stressed intestines my lead to forward head posture.

Not just trendy, but a really useful add-on to our work. Come learn how to incorporate cups in massage! This class gives you 8 continuing education hours of training in massage cupping approved for Wisconsin licensing. Cupping feels good as it provides a different way to loosen stiff tissues and decrease pain. This class will give you the background and hands-on practice you need to be confident working with the cups in your massage work. Clients love receiving this work and they will love that you can also learn more variations of these techniques with our other cupping classes.

It took me almost 10 years to fully embrace being a therapist because of fear. ( and I really did love my full time job in the lab) I am a full time massage therapist now and love every single second. I have clients on the books through end of the year. I get to teach. I have an amazing team of coworkers. If you are looking for your sign to "go for it" this is it. Don't let doubt hold you back.
