Our 2nd-year students are learning to use cutting edge surface electromyography (sEMG) technology from True Angle. The Mobili-T® is a system that empowers SLPs to help patients with dysphagia see, learn about, and adhere to their swallowing exercises. Our students were able to practice using these devices in their Advanced Practices in Dysphagia course. Thank you to associate professor Dr. Teresa Brobeck and True Angle for working together to bring this technology to the SLP program at Midwestern University - Glendale.
