I invite prospective students and their families to visit the ASU West campus on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 2pm for a special screening of "The College Tour en Español," a Spanish-language film featuring 10 ASU students as they share their personal learning journeys. They will also join us for a Q&A after the film.

ASU is excited to host this event as part of our Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, and I hope you will share this opportunity with others interested in learning more about ASU.

On-campus classes resume Monday
Nearly all electrical systems at the ASU West campus are back online, and normal campus operations will resume.

In-person classes will resume tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, except for some classes in the Classroom/Lab/Computer Classroom Building. Students with classes in CLCC should closely monitor their ASU email for any additional directions from their faculty.

The Lecture Hall and the Sun Devil Fitness Complex remain closed.

ADVISORY UPDATE | Power Outage | West campus

The power outage is ongoing. Residence halls are unaffected, but classrooms and the dining hall do not have power.

All West campus classes will be remote today, and employees are encouraged to work remotely as well.

**Students should contact their instructors to determine how classes will be led.

ASU will continue to update the university community as it works to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

The Peoria Forward Venture Challenge is powered by Peoria Forward, a strategic partnership between the Edson E+I Institute and the City of Peoria, Arizona, to advance the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the West Valley. The Peoria Forward Venture Challenge is open to community ventures; affiliation with ASU is not a requirement. This program is designed to identify the best innovations in our community and serve as a pathway to the resources within ASU.

Join us on September 13th for the Pitch + Celebration at the Peoria Sports Complex as the finalists present and pitch for their chance to win up to $15k!
