Great Expectations Preschool
Great Expectations Preschool is a home based school that provides smaller classes for individualized learning
The Great Expectation approach to learning is based on hands on experiences and activities. This is a developmental preschool with a strong emphasis on introducing your child to the basic academic needs necessary to forward their education. Every child will have the opportunity to work in a group setting and individually. The following areas are activities available for your child: Art, Circle Time, Science/Cooking, Manipulative play, Social Studies, and Language and Math Readiness activities.

October Fun
School can be fun. We worked hard on eye-hand and eye-feet coordination. Also, the last picture was of our experiments with color.
I love being back at work!
It's not as hard as you think! School is back in session and it's a great time to teach love, respect of others, and the value of being together. The first day of school we spoke about how we loved being with each other and that we would never want to make anyone sick or feel uncomfortable. We decided to work together and make some positive steps. 1) When we are outside we don't need masks, 2) When we are inside and in a big group we would protect each other and wear our masks, 3) The number for this year is 3. Only three kids per activity, 4) We will be kind in our words and actions and be respectful. Guess What?....no one passed out from of oxygen deprivation, there was no tears or argument, we understood when someone needed a "mask" break. The best part is we got to be together.
Proud to be the teacher of these kids and their parents. I'm sure we will have to be flexible and make some changes, but we are off to a great start.
Look at these kids "rockin" their masks. Miss Linda is so proud of you and can't wait to see you!
Here are some cute face shields for kids.

Time to Come In, Bear: A Children's Story About Social Distancing Written by Kim St. Lawrence Read by Ryan St. Lawrence Note from the author: No children's story should be written in a weekend, but I wanted to get this out ...
Great Expectations Preschool is going one on one. I have enjoyed meeting with each of my students at their homes in their yards, acceptable distance from each other, and delivering materials for appropriate preschool learning. Thank you parents for "stepping up to the plate". I am blessed!
My sister, Sally, is so creative. This is going to be your art assignment next week preschoolers.
I hate social distancing but love these kids!
