"Do you have the right focus in 2024 ?" 2Tim.4:10" For Demas has forsaken me for the love of this present world... " A man bought a hunting dog. Anxious to see how good he was, he took him to hunt a bear. In few minutes after they arrived in the forest, the dog was tracking a bear. Suddenly he stopped, smelled the ground and changed direction. He detected a deer scent who intersected the path of the bear. After few moments, the dog stopped again, smelled the ground, and took another direction, because he smelled a rabbit who intersected the path of the deer. Finally, the hunter chasing after his dog, who changed directions over and over again, found him barking triumphantly over a nest of field mice. We, as Christians do the same as the hunting dog . Every beginning of each year we start with great resolutions, to give Christ the first place in our lives, to live for Him, but very soon our attention and lives are attracted by the little and insignificant things of this world, and by the end of the year we see ourselves drifted away from the initial goals. If we are not dedicating ourselves every day to Christ, Bible and prayer, we will be attracted by the lust of the flesh., the lust of the eyes and pride of life. We must cease to blame field mice. Break your fellowship with the world or the world will break your fellowship with Christ. Do not love the world or the things in the world. The friendship with the world is enmity with God. Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. (James 4:4) Loving the world make us adulterers and adulteresses. Put Jesus FIRST—FINANCES, INTERESTS, RELATIONSHIPS, SCHEDULES, and TROUBLES . Have the right focus and be persistent to it. Have your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. Have a blessed New Year and may the Lord bless you and make you fruitful for His Kingdom !

The partridge in a pear tree is Jesus Christ. Two turtle doves are the Old and New Testaments. Three French hens stand for faith, hope, and love. The four calling birds are the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament. The six geese a-laying stand for the six days of creation. Seven swans a-swimming represent the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit--Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy. The eight maids a-milking are the eight Beatitudes. Nine ladies dancing are the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit--Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control.
The ten lords a-leaping are the Ten Commandments.
The eleven pipers piping stand for the eleven faithful disciples. The twelve drummers drumming symbolize the twelve points of belief in the Apostles' Creed.

This is Laminin. The molecule Laminin is the protein that holds all human beings together. Did you notice its shape? It’s a cross! Isn't it amazing that God knew we would need the cross when he created us. He knew when he created us that we would sin. He knew we would need a Savior. He knew his only Son Jesus would have to die on the cross to save us, and so he made the very molecule that holds our entire bodies together in the shape of a cross.

Molecular biologists call Laminin “the glue of the body”, because without it, our bodies would fall apart. The truth is, without Jesus and what he did for us on the cross, our whole lives would fall apart. Colossians 1:17 says that Jesus “is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Jesus is the one who holds our lives together, just like Laminin holds our bodies together. Without Jesus, our lives are a mess. We are nothing without the cross of Jesus Christ!

Matthew 6:32” . . . for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.”
St. Augustine once said that we were created with a “God-shaped” void. I agree. Only God can meet the deepest longings of our hearts. There is nothing that can satisfy apart from your relationship with Him. But it's not because He is a heavy-handed dictator forcing you to accept life the way He dishes it out! Who knows what will satisfy your deepest needs better than the One who made you? As your Creator, He can see what your needs are going to be tomorrow and ten years from tomorrow. Don’t you think He knows what you need today?
What do you need today? Notice I’m not asking, "What do you want?” but "What do you need?" Does your Father know what that is? Then trust that He will provide. In Philippians 4:19 Paul reminds us,” And God the Father will meet ALL your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus .” Where God guides-He provides. Isaiah 58:11” The Lord will guide you always ; He will satisfy your needs in a sun- scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-water garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” Abraham called that place, Yahweh Yireh-“The Lord will provide.” Yireh means ,”To see” and “To Provide.” God provided for Abraham and also for Isaac. For Abraham God provided a ram and for Isaac He provided a Substitute. God provided for all of us a Substitute—His Son, Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
God sees, guides and provides for your every need.
