It is the vision of the Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation to secure resources in order to support, enhance, and strengthen the educational and leadership effectiveness of the Arizona Association FFA, the Arizona FFA Alumni Association, the Department of Agricultural Education at The University of Arizona, and the Arizona Agriculture Teachers' Association while maintaining positive relationships with students, teachers, business and industry representatives, and the community.
AZ FFA students can apply for a jacket today! The Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation Jacket Grant Program is open to any Arizona FFA member in good standing and that has not previously been awarded a jacket through the Blue Jacket Legacy Program! Scan this QR code or connect with your FFA advisor to receive the link to apply. The application deadline is October 1st.
We are thrilled to launch the Fundraising for Ag Education FFA Raffle today, sponsored by Stotz Equipment! Grab your tickets for a chance to win a John Deere 1023E Sub-Compact Utility Tractor valued at $20,000 or a $20,000 credit to any Stotz Equipment store in Arizona.
Tickets are 1 for $100 or 3 for $275 and may be purchased online at www.blueandgoldgala.org or in stores at Bales Hay in Buckeye, Maid Rite Feeds in Willcox or one of the 5 Olsen’s Grain Stores in northern Arizona. In-store ticket sales will close January 20th. Online tickets are being sold through January 31st. The winning ticket will be drawn on February 1st at the 9th Annual Blue & Gold Gala!
Must be at least 18 and a resident of Arizona to purchase tickets. You may visit the website for contest rules. We are incredibly grateful to Stotz Equipment for supporting the raffle for nine years!

A special thank you to the Arizona FFA Foundation Executive Committee for their time and leadership this past weekend participating in the Executive Committee Retreat. The group took a deep dive into many aspects of the Foundation to prepare for this upcoming year. The Executive Committee is preparing for the upcoming strategic planning meeting to be held in September with the full Board of Trustees. We are very grateful for our entire Board of volunteers that lead our organization.

The Arizona FFA Foundation was honored recently to receive a grant from the West Valley Mavericks Foundation for $17,500 to support the FFA. This grant will provide support for the Estrella Region Career Development Events in the coming school year, FFA Chapters in the West Valley received support to send two students to the State FFA Leadership Camp this past month, FFA jacket support and professional development funds for the FFA Advisors. Following the award announcement, we were also very excited to have been selected by one of West Valley Mavericks golf tournament winners, Fertizona, to receive an additional grant for $4,000 to support FFA. We are very grateful for the years of support the West Valley Mavericks have provided the Arizona FFA Foundation and the impact they are making not only on the FFA members but all charities they support!

The Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation is proud to present the Arizona Agriculture Teachers Association with this grant for $72,885. We are grateful for Tom and Diana Jones, iCEV, Doug Daley, The Kemper and Ethel Marley Foundation and the Arizona FFA Foundation for making this grant possible for AATA.
This Grant will support Professional Development, Ideas Unlimited, Awards Program, Teacher Evaluation Program, All Conference Dinner, Summer Conference Social, and other areas to support the association.
We would also like to recognize our Executive Director, Rochell Planty, for receiving the AATA Advocacy Award at the Fall Conference Dinner.
For our first Member Monday, we are featuring Konner Hatch. He is a part of the Snowflake FFA Chapter and was chosen as the 2024 Star Greenhand Award Winner. Konner has 4 SAE projects which are Beef Cattle, Loading Hay, Grain Sales and Farm Machinery Maintenace.
