P.S. The Immaculate Conception of Mary is a Holy Day of Obligation as it marks an important event in salvation history.

Photos for the Church Directory will take place in the parish office building. A volunteer will be at the front of the building to direct you.

Update: St. Alphonsus won 2nd place for the "Joy of the Gospel" grant offered through Catholic Charities of West Michigan for Giving Tuesday. We are awaiting the total for donations received on Tuesday. Thank-you for your support in raising funds for youth ministry efforts at St. Alphonsus Parish - Grand Rapids

We have several families that have reached out to us looking for someone to bring the Eucharist to their homebound loved ones.

If you are a trained Eucharistic Minister and are interested in visiting one family a week or every other week, please message us on Facebook or text Mary at 616-315-0470. Thank-you so much.

We are in urgent need of a few more volunteers over the next week to help families sign-in for Church Directory Photo Slots at the parish office.

Thank-you everyone for participating in Giving Tuesday. We can never fully thank-you for your prayers + support in all of our parish efforts.

While we do not know our final total, we hope to use all the donations received today to glorify God and His kingdom here on earth. God bless you and sleep well!

This challenge gave a bonus $250 in grants to the first ten entities that received donations after 5 a.m. Because of your quick responses and early alarms, this challenge was closed after a mere 12 SECONDS! Church Directory Sign-In Volunteers We will need at least 1 person for each time slot. You will meet at the parish office and directed to the sign-in table. You will help people check in for their photo slot and confirm address/phone number with them.
