AUMC's "Celebration in Song" returns on Sunday, July 21, from 1:00-2:30 PM! This concert is about God's love for all and celebrates our northeast neighborhood! All are welcome!

This is outdoor concert is FREE and will be held on the front lawn (weather permitting). Aldersgate's Praise Team will lead, and all are invited to sing along or just enjoy the music. It will be fun for the entire family! There will be a tent for shelter from the sun. Please remember to bring a lawn chair.

Join this musical conversation about how God's love is everywhere around us – all we need to do is open our mouths to sing and our hearts to experience and share that love.

If it's raining, we'll move indoors to the sanctuary.

This Sunday, July 7, we will welcome our new pastor, Rev. Dr. Jeremy Williams. There will be a welcome potluck following worship with sliced ham and cake provided. All are welcome to 'stick around!'

This week also begins a new worship series. Pastor Jeremy will something about who he is through some great biblical passages and messages about our purpose together, and how to live together well. We hope you'll 'stick around' and follow where God leads us!

Meijer Corporation has launched another 'Simply Give' program at its grocery stores to help alleviate hunger in West Michigan! North End Community Ministry (NECM) has been named as a recipient of gift cards from the PLAINFIELD MEIJER (3757 Plainfield NE). The gift cards are converted from donations by customers, who simply go to the checkout register and ask to purchase a $10 gift card. NECM will receive $30 for your $10 donation. Double match day is Saturday, June 15!

This Sunday, June 9, we are saying “Goodbye” to our pastor of the last 11 years…Jim Hodge. We will miss his leadership, humor-infused and thought-provoking sermons, and his candor and honesty. Pastor Jim has been “on the job” for the past 40 years and is now taking a well-deserved rest, allowing more time to enjoy what he wants, but we have a feeling he will be spending a lot of time in his newly acquired woodworking shop in his backyard.

Please join us in wishing Pastor Jim a “Happy Retirement” and offering prayers for exciting new journeys that lie ahead for both Jim and Kathy. THANK YOU for allowing us to be filled with God’s spirit through you, Revner!
