One of our partners in Mozambique, Ebenezer, facilitates a transformative leadership and agriculture training program for youth between 18-23 years old. As they embark on 3-month, 1-year, or 2-year tracks, these gifted students are trained in poultry and crop production. It’s an incredible program that helps shape today’s youth into tomorrow’s leaders!

Sri Lanka’s 30-year civil war resulted in a rapid increase of female-headed households. These women face gender discrimination with respect to education, earnings, rights, and economic opportunities. One of our partners in Sri Lanka, ADT, has launched a project to equip these women with the information and tools necessary to develop their businesses and provide for their families.

Entrepreneurs in Ecuador have a new tool for financial literacy, thanks to a collaboration between two global partners.

After connecting at the recent Americas summit in Honduras, two members of the PW network—one from Central America, one from South America—decided to collaborate.

Through EDUFIND, an app developed by this Central American partner, entrepreneurs attending the PW business training in El Oro (Ecuador) are learning about savings, loans, interest rates, and more.

Led by the efforts of Lorena, a member of El Oro Partners’ leadership team, this example of collaboration beyond borders is a true expression of what it means to be a part of the PW network.

“Blessed be the Lord,” said Donaldo, General Manager of our Central American partner. “Let us continue forward, for we are on the right path…If we believe it's possible, we can make it happen.”
