Morning Brooksiders,
Remember to turn your clocks forward this weekend.
Ash Wednesday service of prayer and ashes: This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent. During our usually scheduled prayer time on Wednesday morning at 8:00am., come to the worship center for a brief time (1/2 hour) of scripture, song, prayer, and ashes. The ashes remind us of our sins and the need for humble confession as we prepare to mark the suffering and the death of Jesus

Another successful year of The Nativity Scene at Brookside! Thank you to all of our volunteers: actors, narrators/singers, guitar player, those who provided and served hot chocolate and cookies, Jack Bolt and Dean Price for setting up lights and sound, those who helped clean up afterwards, and to the planning committee! Finally, THANK YOU to all those who came to the shows! What a perfect night to celebrate Jesus' birth together!

Our live Nativity is THIS SATURDAY!!! This is a beloved tradition at Brookside- it is a live reenactment of the story of Christ's birth, read directly from the Bible. There will be live actors, live music, and hot chocolate and cookies. AND IT'S FREE! Invite your neighbors, family and friends to come celebrate the true reason for the season.
