On behalf of the Corewell Health Betty Ford Breast Cancer Services team, we want to share this amazing community opportunity that will take place here at the Center on August 24, 2024:
A woman’s chance of developing breast cancer over the course of her lifetime is about one in eight. Breast cancer is most treatable and curable when it is detected early. That’s why the American College of Radiology urges you to get a mammogram every year once you reach 40 years old. Depending on your family history, your risks and your physician’s findings, mammography may be recommended earlier or more frequently.
What to expect:
The Corewell Health Betty Ford Breast Care Services mobile mammography unit is a clinic on wheels that uses the most advanced technology. You will be welcomed in a comfortable registration and waiting area. After you have registered, use our private dressing room before receiving your mammogram. Our mobile unit provides the same high-quality service as our many Corewell Health Breast Care locations.
