Calling all 3rd-5th grade girls! Girls On the Run is hosting a team this fall at the Kroc Center on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:15-6:45pm. The season starts during the week of September 9th. See the flyer for how to register. Financial assistance is available.

Upstate school launches literacy program for Hispanic, Latino families The program is free and open to families of students who attend the school. Books are read in both English and Spanish.

Families - Help us raise money for new soccer goals for our playground! We will be having a School Spirit Night at the McDonald's on White Horse Road on Tuesday, September 17th from 5:00 - 7:00pm. McDonald's will donate 20% of all sales to Alexander, plus 100% of all apple pie sales. Buy dinner for your family and help us raise money at the same time! See flyer for additional details.

It was a great first day at Alexander! Students were greeted with music from DJ Sha, high fives and fist bumps from members of Omega Psi Phi, and excited teachers and staff! We look forward to seeing students again tomorrow!

A huge thank you to our AMAZING custodial crew! They have worked SO hard this summer and today Dr. Ho**er took them out to a nice lunch to thank them. Our school looks so good and we are ready to see students tomorrow for the first day of school! 💙🦅💛
