GREEN Charter School teachers from across the state met up at Furman University for our annual GREEN L.I.G.H.T. Conference, August 1-2. We smiled for our new ID badges, shared knowledge and wisdom in professional development sessions, and had plenty of “You too? I thought I was the only one!” moments while networking with fellow educators and support staff. We are pumped to pursue Excellence without Exception in the 2024-25 school year!

We had a great time at our first annual Speech and Debate Fundraising Banquet this past Thursday evening! Our team members donned waiter’s garb and served our guests a wonderful dinner after a lesson on serving etiquette. Then they put on blazers to give After-Dinner Speeches celebrating their personal growth this year. We then had desserts from many different cultures - from India to Turkey to American chocolate chip cookies! Awards were given out to the team and our assistant coach, Mr. Alexander.
