🎉 October is National Principal Month, and we took the opportunity to celebrate our incredible principal, Ms. Falvey, in a truly special way!
🎶 To encourage Ms. Falvey to step out of her meeting, Mary Poppins "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” was played over the intercom, leading to a heartwarming hallway celebration where every student lined up to cheer for her.
💝 With posters, cards, and gifts in hand, we expressed our deep appreciation for her unwavering dedication and commitment to our school, staff, students, families, and scholars. Her love, support, and accountability inspire us all every day.
🥰 Last, and certainly not least, if no one has told you they love you today, Berea Middle School loves you! Thank you for all that you do,
💻 No wifi today? No problem.
🫶🏾 We had the pleasure of learning from Dr. Andrea Honingsfeld today about ML strategies, co-planning and co-teaching
🙌🏽 From applicable and efficient instructional strategies, to co-teaching models to games and activities to apply what we learned
😂 Dr. Honingsfeld even facilitated a game of “Musical Chairs” as a metaphor for utilizing the paradigm shift of what we learned and where we are headed with co-teaching
😭 And while we learned a great deal, you can see what happens when adults play a good ol’ fashion round of musical chairs
💚 Love how much our teachers want to learn and do right by our scholars
💰 Help Berea Middle by doing something you already do, at no extra effort or cost to you
🍎 Publix and Ingles both offer shoppers to connect their Publix or Ingles accounts to schools, thus giving them contributions while people grocery shop
🥔 The prices of your groceries don’t change and the more people who sign-up, the more “kick backs” Publix and Ingles sends to the school
💻 Check-out how to connect your Publix and Ingles card in order to help Berea Middle

🫶🏾 Today is Custodian Appreciation Day and although we are working through some challenging times, we couldn’t skip a beat and not show our custodians some love
🔦 While under normal circumstances, they are incredible, this week they chose to work and clean…in the dark!
💡 They’ve worked to find ways to clean and ensure that our school continues to look amazing!
🥩 So today, they got treated to a Ribeye, shrimp, asparagus, onion and potato feast
🍤 We truly love and appreciate all they do and especially all they’ve done this week, as their focus was to make sure staff and students have a clean space to return to
💚 Our hearts are full and the bellies of our kiddos are full too!
