Marching Band Extravaganza! - Friday, September 27 at 7:30 p.m. in McAlister Auditorium. The concert is FREE and open to the public.
Join the Paladin Regiment—Furman's Musical marching ambassadors—for an indoor concert featuring music from the band's pregame and halftime performance shows. You'll hear fan favorites, as well as a few new tunes. This is a chance to see and hear the band in a close-up experience featuring the musicians and auxiliaries of the Furman Bands.
The 2024-2025 academic year officially opened today with the fall convocation. Special thanks to our faculty and guests who provided the prelude, processional, and postlude music for the ceremony.

Alex Threlkeld ’24 bound for Germany with a Fulbright teaching grant Threlkeld is the 53rd student in Furman's history to receive a Fulbright grant. He'll serve as an English teaching assistant in the Rhineland-Palatinate region near the French border.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Stephan Fillare as an Instructor of Music, conductor of the Furman Symphony Orchestra, and Director of Orchestral Activities.
Stephan is absolutely thrilled to join the Furman University community as well as the community of Greenville. He looks forward to aligning with the visions of students, faculty, and staff, towards a new era of growth, introspection, and possibilities within the Department of Music and throughout the area.
Today we celebrated another generation of Furman music majors and dedicated participants in the Music Department at the annual senior luncheon. We are so proud of these soon-to-be alumni for making it to the end.
