Our sincere condolences to the McKelvey Family.

On behalf of Bishop Jonathan Holston, chair of Gammon’s Board of Trustees, we are saddened to announce, the 14th President-Dean, Dr. Walter McKelvey, has passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022. This gentle giant was instrumental in seeing Gammon progress, and faithfully served his beloved institution for thirteen years (1997-2010). While at Gammon, Dr. McKelvey did much to change the landscape of Gammon. It was under his leadership that Gammon Hall and the Willis J. King Building were renovated. His leadership for the organization and his care and guidance for our students will be forever cherished. Rest in Power Dr Walter McKelvey💜💜🙏🏽🙏🏽
