Our Story
Established in 2012, we honor the state of South Carolina’s football legends and act as a catalyst for youth, workforce, and community development. Each year we honor an Enshrinement Class, Bridge Builder Excellence Award, Humanitarian of the Year, and South Carolina Collegiate Player of the Year (Blanchard-Rogers Trophy/SC Heisman). Our cause is educating, empowering and encouraging our youth through Bridge Builder, Business Connect and YAM (“workforce development working for youth and business”). We have a mission to make students in South Carolina be Top 10 in the nation in college and career readiness. We celebrate football and use it as a platform to better our community.
We invite you to join us in our life-long commitment and support of South Carolina football players from 8 years old and up with these comprehensive programs. You can help us provide character, academic, and career development support which is much needed for our youth and communities today. Levon Kirkland helped develop our 3Es system: Educating, Empowering, and Encouraging our youth!
Exceptional individuals who played, coached, wrote about or otherwise supported football with remarkable careers and either (i) did so in South Carolina, or (ii) did so elsewhere, but are a native of South Carolina, are eligible for consideration for induction into the Hall. The SCFHOF Board of Directors have the right to approve eligibility and certify those being honored in a given year. We think you’ll agree we have the best representation of football in our Hall and it is growing every year. We celebrate all of our Hall of Famers, members, sponsors, donors and volunteers and thank you for helping us “make a difference through football.”
