The Courts Fitness and Enrichment Program and the Eastside Explorers Program were invited to walk in the Troutdale parade last Saturday. We made shirts and braved the temps to walk the parade route! This was our first visit to the Museum of the Oregon Territory. We look forward to going back! It opened in 1990, is located in Oregon City, Oregon. Overlooking majestic Willamette Falls, the second largest waterfall by volume in the United States, the museum gives visitors glimpses into life in the Oregon Territory, from prehistoric times through the American settlement in the 19th and 20th centuries. Exhibits in the second floor museum include Native American artifacts, personal belongings of early settlers and the early 1900s Kaegi Pharmacy. Exhibits in the Murdock Gallery change seasonally and reflect different facets of life in Clackamas County.
