Please like and share with your friends, family, or neighbors that might need help.

These young ladies are members of First Baptist Gulfport and students at Mississippi State University. They spent almost every Tuesday and Thursday with us here at GCCM serving almost 70 hours a piece during their Summer Break.

We sent them back to Starkville today with a debt of gratitude and some flowers to decorate their dorm room with.

There is always a place to serve here at GCCM. If you, your civic group, Bible study class, or any other group you are a part of would like to know how you can get involved at GCCM we are only a message away!

It seems that the heat has knocked our free medical clinic air conditioner for a bit of a loop.

Do we have any friends of the ministry that may have expertise in air conditioning repair or maybe they are even an AC Tech themselves?

If you could be of any assistance with helping us troubleshoot the problem would you kindly send us a message and we can arrange a time for you to come out?

Thanks so much for your help!

08/04/2024

Living on the street is tough anytime of course, but with the heat expected this upcoming week it will be very dangerous for a lot of the men and women we have the pleasure of serving each week.

Will you join us in prayer for those individuals? Pray that whether it comes from GCCM or one of our many partners along the Gulf Coast that they may find some relief from the heat this week?

07/29/2024

You all commitment to improving the well-being of our community aligns perfectly with GCCM’s value, and we are honored to have your support in our effort. Together, we are making a tangible difference in lives of those who need it most.

We are thrilled to extend our deepest gratitude to Coast Electric and Gulf Coast Community Foundation for a generous $10,000 Operation Round Up grant!

Thanks to their support, Gulf Coast Community Ministries is empowered to make a tangible difference in the lives of the homeless community and those in need of food assistance. The Operation Round Up grant supports our homeless outreach efforts and enhances our food pantry services, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry and homeless needs being met.

Every bag of groceries, every homeless supply given, every hand extended in kindness, and every life touched is a testament to the impact of this incredible partnership. Together, we're building a stronger, more compassionate community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

We are immensely grateful to Coast Electric and Gulf Coast Community Foundation for their ongoing commitment to making our community a better place for all. Together, we're making a difference.

Every holiday season, GCCM’s donors, supporters, volunteers, and board of directors continue to make a difference in the community by spreading warmth and joy to those in need.

Every year we have our birthday/Christmas celebration with our staff and volunteers, instead of traditional birthday/Christmas celebrations, we "Stuffed Socks" for the homeless community.

Birthdays and Christmas are a time of joy, reflection, and gratitude. We kicked off the season of giving while putting up Christmas trees, fellowship, eating, and stuffed socks.

Thank you to our donors, supporters, volunteers, and board of directors.

Remember, it's not just about the socks; it's about spreading love, compassion, and the true spirit of Christmas!

UPDATE: We were optimistic that the weather forecast would change in our favor. It hasn’t. We are rescheduling Camping for Hope to Sat. Dec. 9th. Please spread the word for us.

This Saturday (now Dec. 9th), volunteers will gather in support of Gulf Coast Community Ministries' Camping for Hope. We hope you will be inspired to join our efforts to provide warmth and dry conditions for the winter months, just as our friend John Rea did in this video, giving the very jacket off his back to a man in need. It was a touching moment I was honored to witness.
We still need blankets, heavy coats in good condition, tarps and 3-4 person tents if you might have an extra in a closet or garage. New items work great too.
Donations can be dropped off at Gulf Coast Business Furniture & Supply on Dedeaux Rd. or Compton & Son Appliance on Pass Rd. through Thursday of this week or at GCCM Tuesday or Thursday, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Camping for Hope is an outreach ministry of Gulf Coast Community Ministries, where we strive to meet the very basic needs of our community by providing food, medical and warmth through the love of Jesus Christ, not just in winter, but throughout the year. If you would like to know more about GCCM or how you can support our efforts, please visit www.GulfCoastMinistry.org.
