Last week, our amazing clients spent an afternoon volunteering at the Humane Society of Washington County, and we couldn't be prouder! 🐾 They put together adoption packets, cleaned cat cages, and helped with laundry and dishes.

Lasting Change Recovery Solutions for Women was awarded $1,982 for the Live United Urgent Needs grant for repairs to the staircase in their client lounge. The successful completion of this project will enhance the safety of their facility which aligns with Lasting Change’s commitment to providing quality care and maintaining a safe living space for women in recovery from substance abuse. Our incredible clients at Lasting Change have been busy bees, putting their creativity to work by decorating lunch bags for a wonderful cause! These beautiful bags are heading to "It's a Blessing to be a Blessing," a heartfelt nonprofit dedicated to uplifting our community in Hagerstown.

This inspiring organization not only offers hot, delicious meals but also provides a support network and vital resources such as healthcare, housing assistance, job training, and transportation to our homeless neighbors. Our clients plan to volunteer to serve food as well! 👏💜

⛳ Reminder to all our golfers playing in Lasting Change's Golf Tournament this Friday, May 17th, at Waynesboro Country Club. We will be kicking off the day with registration and a light breakfast at 7 AM, followed by a shot-gun start at 8:30 AM. Enjoy Rocky's pizza on the course midway through play. We will wrap up with lunch, prizes, and winner presentations around 2 PM. We are excited to see everyone on Friday! It's going to be an absolutely amazing day on the greens.
