As Spring comes, look at the access to your home, cabin, cottage, or storage building. Is that access clear so Fire & Rescue vehicle(s) can get through to you? Time to clear fallen branches & trim if necessary. Help keep you and yours safe, please.
Whether they are volunteer (as in virtually all small & rural communities) or paid, they are all professional! There are no amateur First Responders.
Hearing that the Alanson Fire & Rescue will be closing their medical response due to lack of volunteers.

What a wonderful evening at the Legs Inn fundraising dinner last night! Many Thanks to the Smolak family for donating 100% of the proceeds to the RFC Fire and Rescue. A record number of dinner tickets were sold for the delicious meal! Thank you to all who gave extra donations and who bought dinner tickets for squad members. Thank you all!
September 30th: See you at the Barn Dance & Potluck fundraiser at Bliss Farm Gardens, Hill Road, Cross Village. 5:30 Potluck, 7pm dancing.
October 1st: Black Barn Farm fall festival, Cross Village. Visit the RFC Fire and Rescue's Hot Dog booth! Serranos' Horse drawn wagon rides will also accept donations to support RFC Fire and Rescue. 11-4 pm.
