Basic Charcuterie
Want to try your hand at a charcuterie board? It’s a great way to try some different things that you wouldn’t normally try. It’s fun for appetizers or as a meal and your board can be customized however you like. This class teaches you cheese slicing techniques, board design and pairing ideas. You will leave with a small board to feed two to four people and with the skills to recreate a board
on a larger scale. Please bring a good knife, a cheese you’d like to try and your

CCC Hastings is now offering a 3-week hybrid Phlebotomy Course! This class is $400 and will run April 16th-May 2nd and meet in person Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The rest of the coursework will be done online through Canvas. You must be 16 years old to take this course, space is limited. Program: Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers 2024 Summer Program

Position: Group Leader

Approximately 35 hours per week. 8:00 to 3:30 Monday – Friday
June 3rd through the 28th (no program June 19th)

Your daily responsibilities will include leading a group of 25 middle school-aged students through the daily STEM Program. This non-teaching position promotes positive social interaction skills for the youth in and outside the classroom. You will be responsible for assisting students in the classroom setting as needed, leading the group to each STEM session and to and from lunch in the CCC cafeteria, offering positive structure and guidance.

That's why we've launched the Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers program - an engaging, hands-on program developed to enrich learning through design thinking, 3D printing, augmented reality, social entrepreneurship and mentorship. This program creates a more diverse pipeline for future careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields; no prior knowledge or experience is required.
