The Hastings Campus library is located in the Nuckolls building. Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday until 4:00 p.m.
Summer Hours: 7:30 - 4:00pm Mon-Fri.

October 1-7, is Banned Books Week. Celebrate your freedom to read by stopping in to the library and checking out a banned book!

Jonis Agee will be presenting her program, “Bones of Paradise: A Novel Examined" at Central Community College. See her Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 525.
Her novel, “Bones of Paradise,” is the 2022 One Book, One Nebraska selection. The multigenerational saga is set in the Nebraska Sandhills in the years following the Wounded Knee massacre. It weaves vengeance, race, guilt and betrayal into its pages and features characters shaped by violence, love and a desperate loyalty to the land.
The Library has also started a Little Free Library. It is located in the Nuckolls Bulding hallway next to the bookdrop. Feel free to take a book or leave a book. These books can be kept or returned to the Little Free Library table.
In honor of National Library Week, stop into the Nuckolls Library for a good book, or search for one of the Where's Waldo characters around the library to win a prize!

A collection of Mapula Embroideries from South Africa are now on display at the Nuckolls Library on the Hastings Campus. The embroidery project has empowered women in South Africa to support themselves and their children while building confidence and a community of support.
These beautiful embroideries were donated to the college by Dr. Natalie D. Hahn and the Malaika Foundation. Dr. Hahn is a native of Polk, NE and worked with the United Nations programs for 38 years, primarily in Africa. She is the founder of the Malaika Foundation of Nebraska whose mission is global education for Nebraska schools, colleges and universities.
Friday, September 17th is Constitution Day. Stop into the Library and check out a book to celebrate!!
Remembering 9/11, stop in to the library to check out our display, featuring a poster series from the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
