"East Bay has given me an opportunity to stand out more than I would at a UC or a bigger school. I'm a history major and my classes are really small - there's at most 20 people so I got to know all my professors, even the head of the history department knows me by name. Being a history major is also how I got my job and I ended up here. The president also knows me by name because it's all so small. I had someone joke that I have a private education because my classes are so condensed, so I get more 1:1 with my professors. So, East Bay has given me a chance to shine more than I would have elsewhere."
