Our Fall semester begins two months from today. Are you ready?

Make sure to clear all holds so you can register for classes if you have not yet done so.

Be sure to plan ahead to meet the payment deadline and to arrive in the US on time to be in your in person classes from day one of the semester.

Our offices and the entire campus will be closed tomorrow for the Juneteenth holiday.

Save the Date for International Student Orientation on August 16! More details will be posted on our website and emailed to all students who have accepted their offer of admission when we get closer to the start of the semester.

Meet current international student Mohammed Alomar from Saudi Arabia! Mohammed first came to Cal State East Bay for the Intensive English Program offered through Global Academy on our campus in the Spring of 2020 before enrolling in the BS Business Administration program in the Fall of 2020. Now in his final year, he's taking classes this summer and hopes to graduate at the end of the fall semester. He shares these good wishes for our new students coming this Fall:

"Good luck to those students joining Cal State East Bay this coming fall. Our university has an amazing view of the bay area, there are many places to check out when you have free time. My favorite place that I have been to is Fitzgerald Marine Reserve in Moss beach. Seeing the marine life of different species for the first time was a cool experience."

The Fee Payment Deadline for Fall 2024 is two months away! If you have not yet paid your tuition fees and would like to break your balance up into installments, plan ahead to enroll in the installment plan and make the first payment before the deadline. Today marks the beginning of California State Parks week! We are sharing student pictures of their outings to amazing within easy access of our campus. Some can be reached within an hour or less and others are further afield but still accessible for a weekend getaway.

International Partnerships Coordinator Laura Perry is at the NAFSA conference in New Orleans meeting with current and future partners including Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in Korea which is our newest exchange partner. SKKU is the oldest university in Asia.

Follow to learn more about study abroad opportunities for CSUEB undergraduate students to spend a summer or year in another country while earning credit at CSUEB.

Today is the first day of our summer session. All the best to our students taking classes this summer!

As a reminder our shuttle bus does not run on holidays like today. You can take the AC Transit bus number 60 to get to and from campus whenever shuttles aren’t in service. Follow for more information on the Alameda country transit system.

This past Tuesday our office had guests from ENSAM (aka Arts et Métiers Paris) in France. Dr. Khaled BENFRIHA, Associate Professor, Arts et métiers institute of technology Campus of Paris, France and his colleague Lesley Stewart enjoyed their time at CSUEB as captured in the following pictures:

CSUEB was delighted to host a delegation from Prince of Songkla University (PSU) in Southern Thailand today to discuss potential collaboration in the fields of business, especially management and accounting.

They were hosted by Dr Hongwei Du from the Management Department of the College of Business and Economics along with the incoming Vice-Dean of CBE Dr Lynn Bowes-Sperry, and adjunct faculty members Kevin Gao and Raj Shea. Laura Perry represented International Programs and the entire visit was coordinated by Austin Rohan from University Advancement.

The PSU delegation consisted of:

It’s a beautiful summer day (campus is quiet between terms).

We’re pleased to celebrate with Krutika Deshpande on her graduation last week! She shared this reflection with us:

“I am an international student graduated with an MS in Business Analytics. During the two years of my Master’s, I was a student assistant supporting operations of Project IMPACT in the Accessibility Services.
I had the opportunity to help and support the students with disabilities by providing them Academic Tutoring for courses based on Data and Statistics.”
