July is Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Month also known as BIPOC Mental Health Month. This day was formally recognized by Congress on June 2, 2008. Bebe Moore Campbell was a well known author, journalist, teacher and mental health advocate.

We believe that celebrating Pride Month is a time to amplify LGBTQIA + rights and center the voices of those whose stories often go unheard. We also believe that we each have the right to love who we love, all year round - not just in June. Pride Month serves as a reminder that love knows no boundaries and that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and kindness, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Since our inception, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated has been concerned with the issues of the day. For over 104 years, we have worked to be a voice for the underserved and support marginalized communities.

Join us as we continue to lean in, as we continue to actively listen and as we continue to learn. Stand with us as we use this month to consistently educate ourselves, become better allies and celebrate the resilience and brilliance of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is indebted to our sorority’s incorporating members, Myrtle Tyler, Gladys Warrington, Joanna Houston, Josephine F. Johnson, and L.O. Goldia Smith. These distinguished women were dedicated to ensuring the legacy of our organization, and on March 30, 1923, in Washington D.C., that commitment became official.

Now, 104 years later, our purpose remains steadfast — to cultivate the principles of service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood. Unyielding in our dedication, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated stands as a community-conscious, action-oriented organization, wholeheartedly devoted to transforming the lives of others. Throughout this year, through our tireless devotion to The Power of S.H.E., we will continue to embrace the service, worldwide wellness, extraordinary leadership, and legacy of our sisterhood.

Judge Harris holds the esteemed position as the first black and current standing judge of the North Las Vegas Justice Court. Her presence promises to bring invaluable insights and inspiration to us all.

Killing one woman every minute (cardiovascular disease accounts for 35% of deaths in women globally)* heart disease is the number one killer of women in the U.S. This statistical finding spurred a movement by the American Heart Association called National Wear Red Day, which is held on the first Friday in February annually.

The women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated will be wearing red today and invite you to join us!
